Existing concrete floors that do not have a membrane underneath them will need to have a moisture barrier applied prior to having any impervious floor finish, even vinyl.
A temporary moisture barrier is applied before an epoxy floor system is used.
Vinyl being replaced one month after
being laid, because of rising damp.
